Summer Camping

We ventured out to Geneva-on-the-Lake to camp.
The site was beautiful and quiet.
It was within walking distance to the lake,
so we spent some time in the sun on the beach.
I am so sad that this is the only picture we have!
Somehow, we lost all the pictures we took.
I wish I could find them.
Maybe they will show up soon.
Camping with Dan is always a good time!

The Lion King

We both arrived back in Cleveland after our separate trips.
Dan surprised me and took me to see
The Lion King Broadway show!
It is always the best to be reunited with the one you love,
even after only a few days.
I sure did miss him!

AZ

I got to visit Taylor while Dan was in Colorado.
I loved this trip!
Arizona was beautiful, and I loved the company!
Tay & Spencer have the cutest family.
I cannot get enough of my sweet nephew, Bradford.
Look at him! He is adorable.
We ate a lot of good food in AZ.
One of my favorites was Joe's Real BBQ.

We visited the Gilbert temple site.
You can view the inside of this temple here.
We also got to visit the Mesa temple which is older
and very unique looking.
I love it.
Our last night together was spent at Grimaldi's Pizza.
It was so much fun to spend time with everyone.
I sure do admire Taylor and Spencer.
Tay made it through her chemo treatments, and
Spencer is an incredible husband.
They keep on smiling.
I love you guys!

Four-Pass Loop

Dan had the opportunity to travel to Colorado this summer
and hike the Four-Pass Loop near Aspen.
He hiked for five days with his brothers and dad.
What a trip!
He stayed at his brother's home before heading out.
Dan got to see his adorable nephew and eat some
of Taylor's delicious food before the trek!

It begins...

Dad brought portable, all-terrain bocce ball.

On a peak, mountain goats started stalking Dan.
I am so glad he survived these scary-looking goats
and the even more scary terrain!

Dan returned wide-eyed and exhausted, but with stories to tell.
Thanks to Matt for the adventure!
