This is one of my favorite cookie recipes.

I found it on the back of a

Gold Medal Flour package several years ago.

Dan is a huge fan of them.

You may or may not know that Dan

LOVES

warm and fresh chocolate chip cookies.

He is a happy man when he smells those

baking in our home after a long day.

General Conference

This weekend is the 181st Semi-Annual

General Conference

of The Church of

Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

I love General Conference.

I get to listen to a living Prophet

and Apostles of the Lord

testify of Jesus Christ.

They also give counsel for our day,

just like Moses, Peter, James, and John did

in their day.

How blessed we are to have a Prophet

on the earth today!

Some of the things I love about my Dad...

He snowboards.

He can cook!

He loves to golf.

Even if it is miniature!

He is THE best Grandpa.

He loves to fish.

He always makes me laugh!

He loves to see his girls smile.

He is always there to celebrate an

important event.

He loves my Mom.

He loves to dance with me.

Best of all, I know he loves me.

Grapefruit

The thought of eating grapefruit

used to make me shudder.

Until... I decided to face my fear.

I bought a nice big package of them at Costco.

I took my first bite and

fell in love!!

They are the sweetest grapefruits I have ever tasted.

I don't even put sugar on them!

I eat one almost everyday... yum!
