Palmyra, NY

We drove out to Palmyra, New York to visit some 

LDS Church History Sites.

We stayed at a KOA with our friends.

This was our little tiny cabin.

What a neat experience to visit all the sites we have read about

in the scriptures.

This area is filled with rich history.

The Spirit is strong there and it confirmed all the truths

we know and have studied our entire lives.

The Hill Cumorah Pageant was going on while we were there

so, of course we went to see the show.

These are the seats for the audience.

The show is on the hill where that huge stage is.

We made our own food at the campsite.

We visited the Sacred Grove and Joseph Smith's childhood home.

We also went to the Palmyra temple.

So beautiful on the inside!

The stained glass was incredible.

We ran into the Hunsakers at the Palmyra temple!

They live in San Diego and know Dan's family.

What are the odds!?

We had to take a picture.

On our way back to Cleveland we stopped in Buffalo, NY for

some tacos at a Mexican place.

What a fun trip!

We really enjoyed spending time with friends,

visiting the sites, and gaining a stronger testimony

of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Happy 4th!

We had a relaxing 4th of July this year.

We spent some time on the beaches of Lake Erie,

had a BBQ with friends, 

and then headed to a park to watch the fireworks.

Hocking Hills

We camped at Hocking Hills this summer with our friends.

It was a very successful camping trip. 

We hiked, swam, and ate yummy food!

It rained on our way to the site and on our way home.

We were pretty lucky that it didn't rain while we were there.

This site is a three hour drive from our place and it was 

definitely worth the trip!

It is especially fun camping with Cody and Megan!

I wish we could see this place in the fall. 

I bet it is breathtaking!

California in June

We got to go to California for my brother's wedding.

We squeezed in a few other things.

Dan got to check out this 

pediatric dental program in San Diego.

 We had fun just catching up with everyone.

 Of course, we spent time on the beach.

With all she faced this summer with her health,

I was so proud of her for still getting up and getting out.

 Her son, Bradford, is one of my favorite 

little people on the planet.

We also got to be with Dan's family for Father's Day.

 Little baby Elle is absolutely adorable.

 We could not get enough of her sweet face.

 Here are all the sisters the night before the big day.

Tiffany (in the middle) is the perfect addition to our family.
