Happy Harvest

We love Fall in Ohio.
The trees are absolutely gorgeous,
and the weather has been beautiful!
We recently visited this historic cemetery.
It is only a couple of minutes from our place.
We got home and gutted our pumpkins
to bake pumpkin seeds.
We enjoyed them while playing games
with Matt & Taylor.
Our sweet neighbor brought us dinner one night last week.
She is Italian and a VERY good cook.
She brought over pasta with homemade tomato sauce
and ciabatta garlic bread.
Yes, it was delicious.
We had Thanksgiving at Matt & Taylor's.
We had so much good food.
We ate, watched a movie, and ate some more.
We had so much fun making all the food.
Now we have tons of leftovers and
will have Thanksgiving dinner 'til December 1st ;)
Happy Holidays!!

Week 11

I just finished the 11th week of my internship.
I have only 2 1/2 weeks left.
I cannot believe how quickly it has gone by!
This week was busy because,
Dan is preparing for finals
(he studies 6 days a week),
I am finishing an online class,
and I have a project and case study to finish up.
Of course we made time to celebrate Taylor's Birthday!
We went to The Cheesecake Factory for dessert.
After a long week of working and studying,
we went out for a date on Friday.
It is always nice to get out and have some alone time.
We ate at California Pizza Kitchen
and walked around Legacy Village.
It is one of the coolest-looking outdoor malls!
They already had their Christmas decor up!
Carne Asada Pizza & BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad
We had a lot of fun walking around,
although it was pretty dang cold!
Last week we had the missionaries over for dinner.
I put Dan in charge of the table settings.
I turn around and this is what I see...
. . . Dan calls it the "lotus" napkin folding technique.
I am so impressed with his skill!
I cannot wait to see what comes next ;)

37°F

CASE Alliance Dental Association had a...
GIRLS NIGHT OUT!
We were invited to the Viking Store
to watch our girl, Chef Eva, cook dinner.
She made us a butternut squash soup.
She also made a tomato and goat cheese tart.
We also had a delicious apple and crumbled bacon salad.
She had also made some specialty cookies for dessert.
The food was heaven, I learned something new,
and it was so much fun to have a night with the girls.
Unfortunately, that was the last great thing I ate this week.
Dan has been sick for a while now, and I just caught the bug!
This is all I have been eating since then.
We are having our first snowstorm!!
It is currently 37°F here in Cleveland.
Good thing we just invested in snow boots.

Halloween

We dressed up as Grandpa & Grandma this year.
Haha! We had a lot of fun picking out our outfits.
Our friends, Brett & Jenny, hosted this awesome
Halloween Party...
...complete with a haunted basement,
costume contest, and games!
We had a lot of fun with all our "1st year" friends.
We also went to our ward's Trunk-or-Treat.
We ate Chili and passed out candy to all the kids.
We even got a couple of trick-or-treaters
here in Little Italy!
Hooray for Halloween!
