Celebrate!

We celebrated our two years of

marriage with a mini trip.

We headed down to Columbus and

stayed the night at The Westin.

We ate at the famous Thurman Cafe,

as seen on Food Network!

It really was quite the experience.

The burgers are enormous!

I could only stomach 1/4 of mine!

We ate breakfast at The Northstar Cafe.

Free of charge, baby!

It was a lovely way to start off our Saturday.

It was even more lovely when

we headed to the temple.

I was reminded of the week I got married

and the special feelings I had at that time

in my life. I love the temple.

We had a romantic dinner on our anniversary date.

It was at this delicious restaurant

only a block or so from our house.

We walked over, ate on their patio, and walked home.

Our bread was in the shape of lips...

...and hearts.

Okay, not really, but we thought so!

We talked about our two years together.

It has been an adventure so far and

we wouldn't have it any other way.

We got tickets from our dear friend to go see

The Joffrey Ballet at Blossom Music Center.

It was absolutely breathtaking!

The venue is just gorgeous!

We had a relaxing weekend

and really enjoyed our time together.

Thanks to friends & family.

It was the perfect weekend to

remember our love story.

Little Italy

We headed to "The Feast" this year

with some of our friends.

Lots of good food, carnival rides, and music.

We love living in Little Italy and that

we get to be a part of this celebration every year.

Dan lost his phone that night.

We searched forever, but there was no way

we were going to find it with all the people!

I went over the next morning knowing

the grounds would be empty.

I tried calling it and heard it ringing

on "The Scrambler"!!

We went on that ride the night before

and it must have slipped out of Dan's pocket!

It was stuck behind the seat and

had been there all night!

I was so excited I told everyone I saw

what had happened on my way back to my house.

What a blessing!!

Happy TWO Years!

We left Utah and went to San Clemente!

I love my little part of town.

You can smell the beach in my backyard.

It was lovely having family together.

I especially enjoyed talking with my Grandpa.

Another highlight was playing with these little kiddos!

We took a stroll to the beach....

...and relaxed on the beach.

I really loved spending time with this little girl.

She is too darn cute.
