NYC 1

We took a weekend trip to NYC for our anniversary.

We had talked about going for so long,

so we finally decided to just go for it!

We really had so much fun.

We tried to see as much as we could while

we were there, and we soaked up every second.

Here are pictures of our first day.

 We were so lucky to get last minute "student rush"

 tickets to see Wicked!

 It was a dream come true.

They were half-price and we sat in the orchestra section.

We really lucked out!

I have been wanting to see this musical since high school 

(seven years) and I have memorized all the music.

It was absolutely incredible, and I loved every second.

Danny even liked the musical too!

Married for three years.

Could not be happier.

Garden

I love our little garden.

Making meals has a whole new meaning

when you can walk outside your door and pick

a vegetable right from the plant that you grew!

We have tomatoes coming out of our ears.

Our peppers seem to be never-ending! 

 We just had a whole new set of flowers come in

and the peppers are growing like crazy.

I love that every year we learn something new

about how to improve our garden. 

It makes me so excited to someday

have a big plot of land that I can go crazy with!

I'd say we have been pretty successful in our pots.

We will be eating veggies through September, I am sure!

Thank you to our sweet neighbor who cares for our

plants when we are away.

Even when we seem to have neglected them,

we would walk outside and see that she had already 

watered them for us.

We are so lucky to have her.
I am off to make a fresh veggie salad to go with our dinner.
I am making these rolls too.

New Job

I have a new job.

I am a Recreation Therapist at 

Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation.

This is my second week at the hospital and I already love it.

I interned at this same hospital when we first moved here.

I posted about that here.

It is such a blessing to be back!
