Christmas Time Is Here

We had our ward's Christmas party last weekend.
This is me excited about Christmas
and enjoying the cute table decorations!
I had also just found out that Santa was coming too.
We sang Christmas carols while waiting for Santa's arrival.
He came and the kids were so excited!!
Matt was the photographer for each family.
Taylor handed out toys from Santa's Toy Box.
Dan and I sat back and watched the darling kids
sit on Santa's lap.
We also were entertained by the kids who were
terrified of the man.
This is one of my favorite people in town.
Her husband went missing when Santa came...
Hm... I wonder where he went?
It has been snowing for three days straight!
It just keeps coming!
More pictures to come.

Let It Snow

It is snowing here in Cleveland!
It is always neat to watch the first snow.
Home Depot came and decorated the hospital
with lights, wreaths, and bells.
It is so festive and completely changed the atmosphere!
I love this time of year!!

Happy Harvest

We love Fall in Ohio.
The trees are absolutely gorgeous,
and the weather has been beautiful!
We recently visited this historic cemetery.
It is only a couple of minutes from our place.
We got home and gutted our pumpkins
to bake pumpkin seeds.
We enjoyed them while playing games
with Matt & Taylor.
Our sweet neighbor brought us dinner one night last week.
She is Italian and a VERY good cook.
She brought over pasta with homemade tomato sauce
and ciabatta garlic bread.
Yes, it was delicious.
We had Thanksgiving at Matt & Taylor's.
We had so much good food.
We ate, watched a movie, and ate some more.
We had so much fun making all the food.
Now we have tons of leftovers and
will have Thanksgiving dinner 'til December 1st ;)
Happy Holidays!!

Week 11

I just finished the 11th week of my internship.
I have only 2 1/2 weeks left.
I cannot believe how quickly it has gone by!
This week was busy because,
Dan is preparing for finals
(he studies 6 days a week),
I am finishing an online class,
and I have a project and case study to finish up.
Of course we made time to celebrate Taylor's Birthday!
We went to The Cheesecake Factory for dessert.
After a long week of working and studying,
we went out for a date on Friday.
It is always nice to get out and have some alone time.
We ate at California Pizza Kitchen
and walked around Legacy Village.
It is one of the coolest-looking outdoor malls!
They already had their Christmas decor up!
Carne Asada Pizza & BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad
We had a lot of fun walking around,
although it was pretty dang cold!
Last week we had the missionaries over for dinner.
I put Dan in charge of the table settings.
I turn around and this is what I see...
. . . Dan calls it the "lotus" napkin folding technique.
I am so impressed with his skill!
I cannot wait to see what comes next ;)
