This Is Kirtland!

It is opening night for This Is Kirtland!
We are so excited!!
It has been so much fun rehearsing
and learning how to act, sing, and dance.
We have made so many new friends
and have loved getting to know the history
of those early saints in Kirtland, Ohio.
After rehearsal the other night,
we celebrated our success and ate some
delicious yogurt at Legacy Village.
Legacy Village is an outdoor mall.
It is really fun to walk around and window shop.
The yogurt was very good!
I am so excited to perform.
It has been several years since I was
on stage and I am loving this opportunity.
There is something so exciting about
getting ready in hair and make-up,
rehearsing parts,
and taking your first steps on stage.
It is so much fun!
Dan snapped this picture of me getting ready.
This is us after our final dress rehearsal!
We will post more pictures of us in our costumes
after this weekend of performances!
If you are in the area, come and see!
Information can be found here.
Wish us luck!

Niagara Falls

We got to go to Niagara Falls with Dan's Dad
and Grandfather.
It was the perfect weekend to go!
The weather was so nice!
I remember learning about Niagara Falls in
elementary school and dreaming about going there.
It was breathtaking!
I am so grateful I was able to see it in person.
We live on a beautiful planet!

Girl's Camp

I am the Girl's Camp Director in our ward
and we just got back from this year's camp!
We had way too much fun!
We got to camp with another ward and
fell in love with them.
The girls made new friends and had a blast!
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth,
where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where
thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not
break through nor steal.
For where you treasure is,
there will your heart be also."
Matt. 6:19-21
We set up our tents...
...performed our skit...
...and made new friends.
We shared the "cry baby" bottle with
the girls that complained at camp.
It was pretty funny... and no more complaints!
We learned CPR...
...played "Minute to Win It" games...
...we got crafty...
...had a wild water fight...
...and relaxed by the fire.
Here I am attempting to build a fire.
The Dutch Oven Diva.
Flag Ceremony.
Saying Goodbye.
Thanks to the Hiram Ward!!
We had a great time!
We love you.
You are ALL Gems!
