General Conference

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

has a semi-annual conference that

is broad casted worldwide.

I look forward to conference because

I know I will hear just what God wants me to hear.

God lives. The fullness of His gospel is on the earth.

He has appointed a living prophet and twelve apostles to

spread the message of his Son, Jesus Christ, on the earth.

The speakers at this conference are God's appointed

servants. A living prophet and twelve apostles speak today.

Romney Rally

We were able to attend the Romney Rally

here in Cleveland!

I am so glad we went early and got to be up close.

We went with a bunch of our friends

and really had a good time.

We were certainly educated and completely

impressed with Mitt. Wow.

I loved hearing Ann Romney talk about Mitt.

The way he talked about her was very special as well.

You can really tell they are a team.

Here are some of my lovely friends.

Mitt made the rounds after his speech and shook hands,

gave hugs, held babies, took pictures, and smiled.

Yes, I really was this close. It was awesome!

What an experience!

I would love to go to other presidential candidate

rallies, just to get a feel for who they are and

what they believe.

It is one thing to see them on TV and another

to see them in person.

I am so glad we went!

Mitt is the man for the job.

Can't wait to vote.

I'm in Love.

I love that we take Valentine's Day seriously in our home.

It is so much fun to decorate, make cards,

and plan a fun Valentine's date!

We ate a lot of chocolate this year...

...I may have gone overboard with the pink & red decor...

...and I made Valentine's for our Relief Society sisters.

On Valentine's Day, Dan and I each planned

a part of the date.

I got home to find these beauties on the stove.

I found a special on a couples massage!

Not only was it discounted for the month of February

but Dan's student ID gave us a better deal!

It was so relaxing. Dan deserved a little pampering.

This school year has not been kind.

Anyway, we got home feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated!

We headed downtown to this cool spot where the river

meets the lake and there is a beautiful view of downtown.

Dan shared some really special things with me.

It was my favorite part of the night.

In the basket are homemade raspberry and

white chocolate muffins that he baked himself!!

We ended with dinner at Michelangelo's.

Other things I have enjoyed this month is

hearing Dan play the piano on a nightly basis. Not only do I love that he practices but I love

that it makes him happy.

I have loved going to get hot chocolate

with Dan this winter.

It is the best activity when it is freezing outside!!

How did I get so lucky?

He even dances as he cleans! Ha! I love it.

I feel just as in love as I did the day we got married.

News

We have arrived safely back in Ohio.

We received a chilling welcome as we

pulled into the airport in the snow.

I am so happy to announce that Dan

passed his board exam!!

We celebrated with our good friends by

going out to dinner.

Nate passed too! Way to go guys!

Dan cleaned my teeth a few weeks ago.

I am so impressed with him.

He is so committed and disciplined in school.

What a stud!
